The server upgrade went well, and all services are now stable.
We here at GPiO regret having to inform you that we're permanently discontinuing any form of e-mail service, due to our ISPs insistence on blocking outgoing port 25. Any attempt at sending mail from the server will result in a PHP error, and that'll be that.
